Probably from the last few  batches of Brazilian/Mexican-built RHD Beetles. Near-neighbour runs one in virtually the same colour; also originally on the R-prefix plate, but he transferred a 1969 H-suffix plate onto it to make it look older.

The quality of some of the plastics on these is a bit suspect: the rear indicators faded from amber to almost clear in just a few years.
