That really is just a 2 door saloon isn't it, at least the 3 dr Megane had a hint of a coupe shape to it....but is still just a 3dr hatchback.

Isn't the coupe 'rule' to have two doors, a sloping rear roof and two seats in the back (usually with a slight bump in the middle, ie Calibra), (which that has)?

Here is a 4 door coupe then! That 2 dr one even has the same rear screen by the look of it!

 

 

A Calibra is clearly a proper coupe and looks nothing like that

Did any of them ever make RHD UK market? I reckon if you scored one it'd be quite a talking point and it's one of those cars that makes you do a double take. Wouldn't say it's especially aesthetically pleasing but it has something a bit different about it.

t's about the roofline and various interior dimensions that a really dull to work out.

Yeah it is, I had a Tempra TD, they are to a Tipo what a Bora/Vento/Jetta is to a Golf, same car with a boot & cosmetic changes to the front end.
