Mr_Bo11ox Posted June 15, 2011 Posted June 15, 2011 Its got the funny flared wheelarches that UK models never got, presumably its a 'sport' feature for covering wider wheels.

Just imagine the joy of trying to keep up with the traffic in this thing. €300Here, in a country with a manufacturer renowned for its diesel engines and who also made a car that closely resembled the Morris Oxford - but by many accounts was superior to it, we find a car purchased by either an ex-pat or a weirdo!

TagoraSX Posted June 18, 2011 Posted June 18, 2011 That guy Treser was a bit of a pioneer in the field of Barrying by the looks of it Indeed, this was one of his "better" efforts it all ended in tears unsurprisingly. In his defence he was/is a brilliant engineer and was responsible for much of the development work on the Audi quattro and its rallying success in the early 80's.
Mr_Bo11ox Posted June 18, 2011 Posted June 18, 2011 I WOULD SMASH THIS WITH THE POWER OF MY IRON FIST x 10000000 http://www.subito.it/auto/alfa-33-4x4-s ... 788249.htm Only 550€€€!

Rod/b Posted June 19, 2011 Posted June 19, 2011 That guy Treser was a bit of a pioneer in the field of Barrying by the looks of it His Quattro convertible is bloody lovely, whilst maintaining a healthy dose of TRESERTARDERY ©
dieselnutjob Posted June 19, 2011 Posted June 19, 2011 I wee bit more pricey http://www.leboncoin.fr/voitures/201532424.htm?ca=7_s
Pete-M Posted June 22, 2011 Author Posted June 22, 2011 26,000 KM, €2995. France. Tempting. Bet it's a bloody 1.7 V4 or summat. Alternatively, this is €1900, a 2.6 V6, and appears to need work... Ideal for Sweeneying in shop windows though. Or you could blow €800 on this. Which appears to be utterly shagged.
eddyramrod Posted June 22, 2011 Posted June 22, 2011 Pete, you need at least one of those in your life, immediately!
AnthonyG Posted June 24, 2011 Posted June 24, 2011 Those Grandads all seem a bit pricy compared to the other old big 'not made in France' cars for sale over there. Didnt think the French did banger racing , although IIRC either the Belgians or Dutch are keen on it. P.S. I'd be suspicious of that black 'tidemark' all round the bottom of the blue coupe.
Mr_Bo11ox Posted June 25, 2011 Posted June 25, 2011 http://www.leboncoin.fr/voitures/212436532.htm?ca=20_s Hey, now this looks awesome for €350!!! 1300 engine as well!
Pete-M Posted June 25, 2011 Author Posted June 25, 2011 that blue grannie is in my department VWP Yesterday. It's the 1.7? Lovely.
Pete-M Posted July 6, 2012 Author Posted July 6, 2012 Thread resurrection! For no reason other than I thought it'd be a bit subjective in 'bargains' as I'm probably one of the few who'd pay £18000 for an original Basil Green Perana, too much of a hike for eBay tat... and it's not even in Euroland, so .... oh bollocks. Whatever. I love this thing. One for the bucket list. Even with no bumpers and inappropriate alloys. NNNNNNNGHHHHHHHH! . He's flogging two of 'em. This one is £5k or thereabout. The other is an auto Coupé. Sith Efrika, like. 5.4 V8. It's fit. I'd enjoy this. Not sure about €12,700 but it is cooler than a polar bears nutsack.
flat4alfa Posted October 12, 2015 Posted October 12, 2015 Is this thread deaded? Maybe it should get rebirth as the Ebay thread gets so many foreign chod entries I get all confused
