almost getting the hang of this

 

question for the established posters here - is it preffered to put all my spots in one post by adding to my original pic and mix thread and then editing title with update ? if so wheres the edit button on this forum ?

 

no captions to save typing t6ime -just pics

i was only visiting chiropracter in hove not out finding things to photograph

have set time stamp after first pic viva hc once i spotted karmen gia and had never seen any of the others before but check how quickly i found this lot i think i may need help

What Seth said. Don't put extra content in your original post, as once it gets to two pages or more, people don't tend to look at the first page. However, editing your original post does allow you to change the thread title e.g. "Local spots - Hove actually - TREDIA TURBO 3/5/08"

I think that Golf is half way through a 'scene' transformation. After no doubt dragging it through the Atlantic, expect a roof rack, wide steelies, 76 ball and smugness within the next few months. Either that or the owner really is a local Steptoe/Trebus/wierdy beardy. I'd still like a mk1 golf though.

Difficult to say whether it really is that rubbish, or was something half-decent made to look like that. That’d be the trouble with owning a VW, people would always leap to conclusions about any particular look you’d achieved and in innocently fitting the wrong roofrack or WHY you might have committed some terrible faux-pas.Much more fun to own something nobody has a clue about, probably the most looks I get are from the drivers of trucks with Hiab cranes…That Viva HC is rather nice isn’t it? I’d much rather have that please, they always look nice on the Rostyles.Interesting Luton body on the Cabstar. The Golf - just noticed the beam deflectors on the front lamps, doesn't look LHD from that angle though? DVLA says first reg in UK 1997. Would agree that it looks more "shagged" than "scene" and that it's destined pretty shortly for recycling instead of ebaying.

The Golf claims to be a 1300 diesel too. I'd say it's been abroad long enough to acquire LHD headlamps and then repatriated in 1997.

Well I believe Datsun UK was based in Worthing just along the coast once upon a time!

Nice red '64 KG coupe there, now with a Canterbury FN reg, though it's an ex-California lhd. A lot of them in the Brighton/Hove area. Young doctors buy them, but soon get rich & trade 'em in for Porsches. I like the way you photographed it from your car on may 1st mr reno, thanks!

thanks for all your apreciative comments honestly wasnt out looking for stuff, had to park in a different road in hove and all were taken in car (name it anyone )whilst i was on route up to my friends house up A23 there were loads more borderline subjects but was already running late so just gave you all a a selection - do you want more ? might go back and get better shot of golf soon have got a few more pics to go on death row thread later

the blue 16 ts belongs to renault classic car 16 registrar Paul Draper who came to visit me , has just been to france in it , lovely car transit was parked in worthing, guess it must be v4 powered
