Ziebart was a good thing, I had a 1974 Renault 4 in about 1993 that had been thus treated from new and it was totally rot free.

I saw this LHD one a few years ago in east London, which made me wonder if it was an American import, with the side markers.. I have seen Mk2 Cortina`s in recent scrap yard videos on youtube in America (as well as Mk1 Fiesta`s), so not sure if they were sold there officially.

Seem to remember that one didn't make the journey & remained here for some reason.

Any idea where? We had similar trams in Eastbourne, until they moved to Seaton in Devon, possibly to enable the later development on the site. Not sure it is E/b though, but it's many years since I would have seen them.

Crumbles, 1966.

Might even have been Dad's A60 parked up. We moved down in '69

BMP787H was first registered in the UK in 1970, the same year it was built, so looks like you're right.

The reason for this one not being shipped to the USA might be related to this, from Wikipedia:

"Sales in 1969 reached 21,496. Sales slumped in 1970, to almost half their 1969 peak, at 10,216 units. Ford USA dropped the model in 1970 and was effectively replaced with the introduction of the US-produced 1971 Ford Pinto subcompact."
