A Deadlock Bolt going into the B pillar from the door.

Yale had to be that far forward for the door glass to open ( Without having a slot cut out of the door glass).

You were not going to gain access by opening the quarterlight or by swinging on the door handles.

The rear doors were even more secure when locked.

The red locking bar could only be released from inside the vehicle and then the key lock undone from the outside.
