Someone's pride and joy circa 40 years ago - note the extras like plastic hood flaps or sunroof. It also sports the old-fashioned international oval sticker, which is newer, because it says CZ (Czech Republic) and not CS (Czechoslovakia). Almost pristine condition as seen yesterday.

The shot was very probably taken somewhere in the Carpathians, dear Watson. The yellow Zhiguli's  number plate letters identify Lemberg (Lwów, Lviv).
