I'd like a Peugeot 104

I've been looking out for a 104, but looks like they've become quite rare, if anyone knows of one available would you let me know, ideally a 5 door. Maybe I should get an 'A' frame and head over the channel.

I sold mine about six months ago - that was a 5-door. Chap off RR bought it. Not seen one for sale since on this side of the channel though.

That one was lush. I was sorely tempted but had an attack of reality... I don't need another car! Huge bargain price too.

My mum had a 104ZR in beige, from near enough new! JJP744V it was. First owner was a vicar or priest who brought'd it back after about 100 miles and swapped it for a full size one.

I'm sure I'll be able to find a picture of it somewhere.

Bizzarely, "The year of the 104" was my first record on 7" vinyl. I listened to it tonight for the first time since I was five. It is an easy listening soundtrack with violins overlaid with trumpet in an Herb Alpert style. The lyrics go:

Peugeot. Peugeot. Peugeot.

Ooooh eee oooh. Peugeot oooh eee oooh.

Peugeot. Peugeot. Peugeot.

Peugeot doe dooo deee dooo.

Peugeot!

It is absolutely shite.

Oh yes a Samba would do, same thing, or am I right in thinking the Sambas were 2 door? I prefer the 104 as the Samba tended to have side mouldings that I think looked tarty. Did the LNA have the lawnmower engine or am I thinking of the Visa?

The Citroen came in two versions. The LN (Helen) had two pots but the LNA (Helena) had four cylinders. Both only had two doors though.
