Need a bit of a pick-me-up, after a bit of a car fixing fail. Besides, my spottings were coming back to haunt me yesterday, after the Hydrocon Clansman above appeared behind me, while on a job in Edinburgh! Got the job done, got the truck back to the yard, and found this by the side of the road, on the way home...

'53 International Scout, so far as I can tell.

Rear axle-less 'Tina, basking in the sunlight. 2.0GL iirc.

Nicely tatty Sterling, which would've been getting an AS calling card, if I had one.

Once again, the Gods Of Shite were smiling on Dundee. Probly just all the students coming back wot's done it...

Scabby crap...

IMAG1690.jpg

IMAG1854.jpg

Horrendous Pugrot, which seems to have old Ford steels with a defecit of bolts

Scruffy Mustibashi van on old Ford alloys.

That R21T, whose 'Bay listing was quite telling, and which apparently now suffers a lack of turbo.

Not much bikeshite I'm afraid, but I thought this was quite nice...

Meh, that'll do for now. It's cheered me up a bit - the hardship of having to go into the 'Bucket and look thro' my pics of crap cars, etc.

Hopefully it's just in storage, awaiting some fixing. I certainly haven't seen it around since shortly after that pic.

Must be some quality shite in Bonnybridge! I've passed thro' plenty of times, but never actually caught any within camera range.

Brilliant spots CJ. I'm fairly certain I've seen that Sterling before. I remember seeing one just like it at a petrol station in Merry Hill a few years ago. I got speaking to the owner, as he went to pay I tried to take a pic but chickened out, then when I tried to take another pic of him driving off it came out as blurry as the camera could get it :x

I've not seen it since :(

First and only time I've seen that one, LS; they're getting rare round here now. I think Suhinaffy's spotted thread had a couple, certainly an H-plate which is local to me. But there ain't many round here, tho there used to be. We had a couple of popular dealers, and they sold well on the British tag!

One thing that struck me about it, was that the wheels were 4-stud. I was sure they were 5-stud! Or at least some of them; I used to help a neighbour with his 800's, and he'd a broad selection of models. Maybe I've gone mental?

There are still a few 800s around in Edinburgh that I've spotted and I recall seeing a MK1 a few weeks ago. Can't remember where bit it will come back to me as I remember I was walking somewhere I hadn't been before.

My local area isn't too bad for shite, lots a derelict stuff in the fields and there's a superb Hillman Hunter tooling around somewhere too.

Spotted a few of these, the matt black 520 lives in the dockyard. Also had a little race with the black mk2 polo coupe in my old mk3 coupe up by sky. I'm surprised you haven't spotted any of my other shitters over the years in the bay..

As mentioned on Faecebook I'm sure thats the same Renner 11 as on my Countrywide thread. Around mid 2008 I guess.

Those wheels on the 106 are definitely original Peugeot. If I remember correctly the centre hole is bigger than on Ford rims, but the design is rather similar to that on old Cortinas etc.
