Rusty Pelican Posted August 26, 2009 Posted August 26, 2009 BLUE vinyl roof as well , uber cool shite
MrRegieRitmo Posted August 26, 2009 Posted August 26, 2009 Hopefully this elusive Tagora Hoarda will also be at Knebworth classics this weekend too.... If they are, you have to have a word! Find out what makes them tick & tell them they have a whole internet forum going doolally over them!
garethj Posted August 26, 2009 Posted August 26, 2009 Hopefully this elusive Tagora Hoarda will also be at Knebworth classics this weekend too.... Usually people like that don't go far without their medication. If you do meet the owner, say there's at least a dozen blokes fapping over pictures of his car. That ought to give the right impression
MrRegieRitmo Posted August 26, 2009 Posted August 26, 2009 I think there's an echo in here......in here......in here.....
Volksy Posted September 9, 2009 Posted September 9, 2009 The vehicle details for A422 GVC are: Date of Liability 05 07 2009 Date of First Registration 26 08 1983 Year of Manufacture 1983 Cylinder Capacity (cc) 2664CC CO2 Emissions Not Available Fuel Type Petrol Export Marker Not Applicable Vehicle Status Unlicensed Vehicle Colour GREEN Vehicle Type Approval null Hmm, seems strange it's unlicenced, not sorned and on flat tyres. If there hadn't been other Tagoras at the same place, and given it's sat next to a R plate 323, it could almost be a scrappage victim.. Lets hope not huh.
r.welfare Posted September 9, 2009 Posted September 9, 2009 xVC plate - must be an ex-management car. I'm sure no-one else was buying them by '83...Wonder what the vents/holes in the bumper are for? Was this a V6-only addition, as (in my mind's eye, with no formal reference material to hand) I don't recall these as a standard fit.
Volksy Posted September 9, 2009 Posted September 9, 2009 Theres a 2.2SX http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3255/276 ... 5076_o.jpg with the same vents. And there is a close up of this chaps other one on http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/c ... 156_cc.JPG with the vents also, unless there is another blue roofed one about. The vents arn't so obvious on the darker bumpers though.
Electric Leyland Posted September 13, 2009 Author Posted September 13, 2009 Now with added Simca 1100!!!!
pogweasel Posted September 13, 2009 Posted September 13, 2009 What on earth!?!This guy is taking shite-collecting to a whole 'nother level.
ayrshirelad Posted September 13, 2009 Posted September 13, 2009 Where are all these relics from the past coming from!!Id love a Tagora and those 3 look almost to good to be true.I do know where there is a 2 Chrysler 180s currently in storage. Not in mint condition by any means but useable and very saveable.Wonder what else he has got that will appear?
seth Posted September 13, 2009 Posted September 13, 2009 Now then, now then... I think reallyloud has at least a few photos of this from Knebworth earlier in the year too
andrew e Posted September 13, 2009 Posted September 13, 2009 I reckon we will need to do an autoshite barricade when the fella goes home.
r.welfare Posted September 14, 2009 Posted September 14, 2009 Dammit! I gave away all my issues of Practical Classics; but that green Simca (an 1100 Special I believe, hence the eye-watering paint) was featured as a reader resto in the September or October 2002 issue. Anyone have the mag? You'd be able to identify the name of the fella who owns it if you do, IIRC he's well known in Simca and Talbot circles which may well explain all the Tagoras...
garycox Posted September 14, 2009 Posted September 14, 2009 I'll have it, not where I am at the moment though so no doubt someone will find it quicker. You sure it's one of those issues? GR8 MEMORY SKILLZ if so!
Angrydicky Posted September 15, 2009 Posted September 15, 2009 I remember the Simca as well. I think it was an article about a man and his two Simcas he had restored, the other one was beige. I'll try and find the article....
seth Posted September 15, 2009 Posted September 15, 2009 I shifted everything pre '03 to my mums a little while ago or it would be on a shelf above my head...
