And now for some gratuitous drooling:

P003Web.jpg (nice Jag too!)

P008Web.jpg - just imagine the noise this thing makes

P011Web.jpg - one of the nicest cockpits ever. Pretty, comfortable, functional, no fripperies whatsoever.

I don't think Alfa Romeo have ever made a really ugly car, I could spend the next 10 minutes just posting photos of Alfa's there's so many off them that i love.

Hmm... the Alfa 6? The Mk2 Giulietta? The 75? The Alfetta was hardly a stunner either... The 33? The 90 (like the Alfa6) looked like the cabin was much too small for the engine bay and boot... the 164 was plain boxy... the 155 was pretty ugly... the 166 looked pinched in the sides (which also looked too tall), had a permanent expression of shock on its rear end, and the front end was woeful on the pre-facelift models (with the tiny headlights), though prettier after the facelift... the SZ, although not unappealing, is plain weird (I saw one in the metal a couple of weeks ago, actually). The new Giulietta is very ugly from the front (as is, to a lesser extent, the MiTo), and I'm not the biggest fan of the blobby 8C Competizione (which is apparently rather soggy to drive, like its Maserati sister)

Plus I have a big problem with Alfa's refusal to allow for front number plates in the styling. Wake up, Alfa, you aren't going to get rid of them (except in certain US states, which don't ask for them), and your cars look weird with the number plates offset like that. Design your front ends around them, they'll be much prettier as a result...

Facelift Sceptre

My dad had one of these! It was his very first car - an ex-demonstrator which had a rather souped-up engine... sadly, it rusted away, but the engine was given to (and, the last we knew, was still in) the Engineering Dept. at Dundee University.

and the Wolseley Wedge:

Not a great fan of the wedge, but they are getting rare! :-

Achieved by using Mk2 Cortina lights too!

Another with humble beginnings.

FA- Lamborghini Miura lenses on the Fiat 850 spider, the least humble part of the whole car...

Albert Ross, I was worried I was the only person who liked Greyhounds. Good to know i'm not alone, I'd have one over an Ace in an instant (I'd have to think about it if it was an Aceca though...)
