Been asked by a local to help shift his old flat four Scooby-and wondered if anyone here fancied it?

Off road around 3 years (illness) but passed its last test 15miles back. Now on around 30,000 and runs well.

Sadly the rust has got it -back of the sills/rear arch'setc.

It IS repairable-if you're brave, and the interior's tidy -but my feeling is that its a good cheap VW camper conversion.

It runswell, soundshealthy-all signs goodetc.

Sadly- theManager of the Home wants it gone within the week-so its over the bridge mid next weekif there are no takers.

Its times like this that I hate the fact I live in a flat with no garage or anything. Someone save this please. It does look pretty rusty, but it could be way worse and there is literally none left. Mr B? Ratdat? Sorry to be one of those 'oh if only' people, but I would seriously have this if my accomodation was any different.

Pete-its yours.

Happy to be returning the favour-so I'll get it over here tomorrow, haul it back here cos its in danger there.

Need it gone pretty quick though-the space is booked to a Volga mid next week!

Well it arrived this morning, sweet engine and box in it,but then it should be on 32k miles

Lovely complete and original interior, aside form the wet n/s/r carpet

Bodywork is non existent around rear inner arches and sills and a huge hole in front bulkead above spare wheel along with a few other small holes thatll need attention but suprisingly front wings and doors are all good and there is evidence of ziebarting......

So after a bit of thinking ive decided to recommission it based on the fact that it isnt any worse than the black one was when i got it and im going to need another project when the coupes done arent i?

big thanks to mr Bickle for sorting it out, collecting it and despatching it  thanks nige

Great work, these early Subarus are almost extinct - good to hear that scoobypete has scooped this one up for his collection.

Excellent work. I look foward to seeing this progress, after seeing how nice your last saloon turned out.

(any progress on the coupe BTW?)
