We were well impressed with this place, which is a sort of technology museum which we happened across , they don't relly promote stuff.

The place wasn't great for photos bit dark inside and bright sun through the glass.

Having been to Istanbul twice, I still don't 'get it'.

I thought it a horrible, noisy, filthy dump.

Until I went to Athens............

OOF!

Never been to Istanbul, quite like Athens though. It is a bit smelly / noisy and all that but is also GR67 for spotting.

We didn't really know what to expect and yeh there were some right ropey bits but they have spent loads on the place, buses and trams could get crowded and a bit hot.

The underground and Funicular had AC and mobles worked underground all the transport was cheap and reliable, you tend to use the ferries a lot to get about.

Quite a few of the cars had UK plates.

Great pics. From the perspective of a grotty Friday in Fife, I wouldn't care if some of Istanbul was a bit iffy!

Quite fancy the Anadol STC16, I wonder if it is just a reclothed Scimitar, or if maybe it was a tryout for the Scimitar's successor? The little white wedge buggy near it looks like fun too. Holiday motor, for the tourists, perhaps?

Yeah, i like those Anadols. Whats the griff with them? Were they all Reliant based or what? Never heard of them.

I think all the Anadols had the same sort of spec, Ford kent engines and Reliant chassic
