This thread keeps on popping up, doesn't it....it's been around 6 months now !

Nothing to report Wolseley Six wise, I'm afraid.

Its like a kind of rolling 24h 'Sky news' kind of thread based around Woolus's.

Oh dear

DVLA have now deleted the ONR 98M record.

:(

Weighed in then. :(

(I'm only assuming scrap yards don't notify DVLA until cars are actually crushed). Someone on here must know what actually happens.

Shame as there must have been a few savable bits on it.

Does anyone actually know this as i am quite interested. I thought once they went to the yard and the V5 was sent off it was game over as far as Doovla were concerned?

Think guy just got his photos muddled as he was also selling an Austin.

Aah. Thought for a moment there was some 1970's BL Unions subterfuge going on and the first owner never even noticed.

Celebrity Owners? Not sure if he counts as a celeb but an old girl friend's family used to live next door to Syd Bidwell the Southall MP who got the Sikh exemption to the motor bike crash helmet law. From a rapidly fading memory Syd had a red Wolseley Six around the late seventies and early eighties. Someone told him that it took 150amps to start the car so he would sit and rev it 'hard' a number times using the ampmeter to measure the correct amount replacement amps were returned to the battery before he set off to help run the country.
