Plus to be a pedant, it's not a Spitfire/aircraft engine as is commonly claimed. The Meteor is very similar to the Merlin without the supercharger but it's a tank engine

I read in PPC he snuck the Rover onto the Goodwood (I think - the one with the mansion in the middle) when the marshalls weren't looking, and got a proper telling off afterwards.

I went to Sparkford on Tuesday,there's a Veteran-looking Rolls-Royce in there with a Meteor engine

Superb machine, if a little ugly. Sort of thing Brunel would have built if he had been around.
