My first car after passing my test (I had a MK1 Fiesta and a Dolly 1500HL but not on the road)

It was rough but I loved it. The engine had been rebuilt and was really sweet. I had a good amount of welding down but cosmetics weren't it's strong point.

I sold it to a guy in the Republic of Ireland in 2005 so I've no way of knowing if it's still on the road.

Anyway have some rough Sprint pics to nose at!

Also I noticed an SD1 photo shown in a Grand Thrift Auto video and a very similar plate (FRW183T)

Grand Thrift Auto is @Skizzer on here. Unfortunately he's not been on here for a while 🫤

Always fancied one, many years back I was at Walsall Car Auctions and one came up from a local trader, I bid £100 but someone outbid  me by 10 quid. Also recall being outdraged by one in my Toyota Supra and that was a quick car in the day.

Aah I had a feeling he was on here but couldn't think of his name. His videos are great!

They are sadly forever out of reach for me now......unless I win the lottery!

Always liked that shape of Triumph, never piloted a Sprint but I did have a naughty shot of a mate's Mum's then fairly new 1850HL when I was learning to drive. It was quite a bit quicker than my driving instructor's 1100 Fiesta...Ā

If I remember correctly the the 1850 was about 90bhp so not bad in it's day at all.
