These have always been great bang for your buck as viewed with scepticism after the previous laguna and being froggy, but the laguna 3 s (+ megane 3) have stood the test of time + proved emselves to be v reliable apparently (a lot of other owners seem to report this and I can attest + vouch with it on mine)

They're not perfect, but what is really, but particularly the diesels have got a great repu for being reliable + durable.

Mines a basic one, some don't have a dpf though you have to check, but there's not many about or parts too now.

They're more of a great motorway mile muncher.

And on that note I found one local and went to see it last nite (I've no vested interest at all) that's a bit scruffy and needs a slight bit of tlc hence really really cheap that ran way way better and smoother than mine does with lowish miles, in a v good spec.

You d have to check it out yourselves but if anyone wants me to pass on the details of it just pm in Manchester area

Time for a long overdue update

I couldn't get this booked in for the suspension work until the 3rd week in March. Then the rear springs seemed unobtainable.I managed to source one from Poland. My mechanic kept taking long weekends, but finally got the work done last Saturday.

Took it for an MOT this morning,20260418_110219.jpg.3dee2971e1e77c7444d9e09dc3e5ee35.jpg

Not too bad,my mechanic did mention the sticky brake & had a quick fiddle with it,hopefully it will free off when I start using it,it has been sat around for nearly 3 months 🤞

Total spend so far is just under £1800,so around what I was hoping it to be 🙂
