For my part I have to say i was only really commenting on the fact that the thread seemed to have become somewhat bemusing (as I think others were also suggesting at points?). Call it a difference in humour perhaps?

 

Anyhoo, I dont think anyone is majorly disturbed by Norm (possibly one or two are unhappy but I dont know what has gone down in the past). If they are anything like me they are probably trying to 'get' his sense of humour. I must admit, I always thought I had a dry sense of humour but I am struggling! LOL

 

Like I said, despite being a relative 'newbie', the great thing about this site is the banter we can all have, and long may it continue I say.

 

Shame about the Capri scenario though - that would have been good if you could have pulled it off!!!

IOW, this thing was factory ordered to be a runner on the quarter mile. The big option that got ticked is the Ram Air IV motor, grossly underrated by the factory at 370HP in order to play nice with the insurance industry. Came factory equipped with Q-Jet 4bbl, alloy intake, round-port heads, around 11:1 cr, factory iron free-flow headers.

I just SO love the way you could spec your car over there in the 60's wouldn't mind seeing a few pics when you have time to spare
