That is stunning, [not so keen on her though.] French coach built stuff of that era was epically pretty.

Blimey. Celebrity car shocker. I once lived about a mile from Diana Dors.

She was fat. I also used to work for Peter DeSavary. He had a couple of Figoni and Falaschi Delahayes. They were lush.

Utterly outrageous and spectacularly glamorous all at once. No modern can match this.

Gotta say I wouldn't know what it was if it wasn't for the recent publicity. I don't dislike it, but don't know if I would spend $4-6 mill on it.....

That's style! It's the sort of car you would expect The Saint to be driving. And I know about glamour cars, I've had two Cadillacs...! (That should set me up neatly as a prime target, )

You just wish a major manufacturer would say......fuck it, lets build something really outrageous.......e.g Citroen can't sell the current C6, they should just have built something like this, and lost the same amount of money.

I REALLY have the horn for a C6, yet I know it would be a world of pain.

Following up on that and wondering about Diana's demise I looked her up.

According to Dors's autobiography, she was once asked and readily agreed to open a fête in her home town of Swindon, England. Prior to the festivities, Dors lunched with the local vicar, during which she informed him that her real name was Diana Fluck. The vicar became somewhat worried about his planned speech. After lunch, they arrived at the fête at the appointed time. The vicar, totally unnerved about mispronouncing "Fluck", introduced Diana with these immortal words:

“ Ladies and gentlemen, it is with great pleasure that I introduce to you our star guest. We all love her, especially as she is our local girl. I therefore feel it right to introduce her by her real name; Ladies and Gentlemen, please welcome the very lovely Miss Diana Clunt.
