I am now the proud owner of a Porsche Boxster. Talbot and I (yes he helped because you get somebody into this mess, you have to help them) went to get the car this morning. As I understand it according to this forum it was ‘nearby’. 14 steps to Talbots car, 3 hour drive, then 10 steps to the Porsche.

Then parting ways with quite a lot of money, followed by another 3 hour drive back, this time following Talbot who was having a whale of a time in the Porsche, with me driving his … boat.

It does seem to be as advertised so we shall see  just need to insure it for me and I have a slightly more water proof car which wont scream at me for 2 hours on the motorway causing temporary deafness (the spitfire is loud, it isn’t fast).

Oh I absolutely will.  Turns out I an just a bit too tall for a boxster,  meaning my head hits the roll hoop and my legs are more bent than I would like.  It's a great thing, but I do not fit.
