Tesco Mobil Oil

Just been into my local Tesco express and they're doing Mobil oils at less than half price. A lot of it is mineral stuff too, ideal for older shite?

 

I got a litre of semi synthetic 10W40 for £6, they've also got five litres of top range mineral, was 22 quid now 10. Various others too, all Mobil.

Thanks for the bargain lubes heads up! there could be just a few about these parts who get through a fair bit of engine oil

Morrisons has 15W40 mineral oil (gr8 4 older diesels and petrols) and semi-synth 10W40 at £10 and £15 for 5 litres, couldn't find it anywhere cheaper.

Tesco are selling WIPERS for half price - £1.50 each.

Screenwash in 5 litres for 1.50!

 

A lot of stuff on sale for motoring. The wipers are pretty decent, but rust seems to take hold of the metal within a year.

Fred, is the Asda oil 20W/50? It's not really suitable for anything modern, though I did once put some in my Subaru Justy with no ill effects...

If they last a year, I am happy, we had a spate of wipers getting nicked from storage, so never want to spend more than a quid now.

Norwich Asda seemed to have stopped doing the cheap oil last time I went in there. It was 20W50, yes, but realistically pretty much anything with over 50K miles and which doesn't have a turbo will manage on it in normal use.

Wipers are good from Tescos, they lasted through 09 winter and 10 winter!
