Sunny Jim Posted April 17 Author Posted April 17 Checked the brake fluid this morning and the level was fine. I'd left it in park overnight with the handbrake off. Fired it up this morning and no handbrake warning light, applied handbrake and it came on and went off again when I released the handbrake. Great, it's fixed*. Horrible weather here this morning so switched wipers and sidelights on and set off. When I got about 50m down my lane the bulb out warning light came on. Stopped to get out and check, no lights out and by the time I got in again the warning light had gone out (it's a long car to walk around!). My best guess is that things have got a little damp in its 30 year old wiring whilst it's been parked up over winter and the best thing to do is drive it and keep letting it heal itself. Even on a foul North Walian day like today this thing makes me smile. I overtook a scaffolding lorry on my way into work this morning and the roar from the straight six when I planted my right foot was glorious. DeanH, dome, adw1977 and 18 others 21

Bradders59 Posted April 27 Posted April 27 Thats not how you are supposed to drive these days though. Concentrate on what your speedo says (because speed kills) and occasionally glance through the windscreen at the road ahead. adw1977 and High Jetter 2
