My 'barn find' collection

New member here.

Not sure how this site works, half the links seem to be dead.

I'm having to get rid of my collection of cars that I've been keeping at my mum's in North Wales (sort of an old farm with barns and garages)  not exactly barn finds as I put them there.

House is sold, so no choice.

Gutted really, the mk1 Granada was my dad's and I was always going to fully restore it.

The blue XM series 1, that I bought off an ex Top Gear presenter no less, almost a minter, with 42k on it, refused to start for me (dead tank fuel sender, can't find the right part)

The grey early series 1 XM fired up right away after 18 years of slumber, rose up and drove (after some new tyres and a couple of bits) for mot and passed (with a smattering of advisories) and now lives on my driveway enjoying the acid rain of south east England.

The blue XM sold on ebay last week, but turned out to be a time waster, it's back on but I've accepted an offer (much less than I'd like but no choice really) and it's due to be collected today to go to its new home, also in south east England. It's still on ebay just in case he's a no show.

Granny needs a full resto job, but seems to be garnering a lot of interest on ebay and has some good bids.

If anyone's interested in having a look, should be easy to find, it's the only one.

Some photos of the old pneumatic barges and the old Ford. (the clean photo of the cars in the garage is when they first went in)

Hopefully the Granada ends up in the hands of someone who will restore it, the worry is always that a good saveable one ends up getting raced.

That Granada doesn't actually look that bad, would like to know how the underneath is looking though. Hopefully it ends up in good hands.

Quite unusual as well as a 2.0. You can’t control who buys it but if it goes for good money less likely to fall into the wrong hands.

Paging @brownnova our North Wales correspondent to the beige courtesy phone please.

Free.

Anyone want to save a Citroen XM full interior, including front electric seats, rear seats, bolsters, door cards and armrest.

Sold on ebay but was a time waster. Gonna skip them unless someone wants to save them.

Also doors and bonnet, currently on ebay for a miniscule amount, they're in excellent condition, solid, good paintwork, no dents or rust.
