This is 2" , for Astra van/Estate, and will 'sleeve' easily into a chopped off delete set up.

Another £29 but, hell.... I'll stick the other on Glumtree for £15 🌪️

EXCELLENT news.... Pipe is blobb on 🍻

The front pipe is swaged/swelled to 50mm and that is the 2" delete pipe to fit ✔️

The back end of the Diesel pipe I bought is 50mm end = the Back Box swaged receiver (for stock 1 3/4" ex) is 49.5mm.... I shall chop off one of my spare 50mm swage receivers and make a slip fit for that butt joint, requiring 2x clamps 😎

I had to run a Vid because I can't get two hands together to hold/shoot...

My Back Box (Mazda) has just arrived

Frankly, tooCheap to let it pass 🤣

Right Ho ... I have *modded the 2" Diesel pipe 😮

..... the original delete pipe set (car type/won't fit estate) comes with a welded hanger bracket + a swage sized to slip over the front section of the delete... on assembly.

Angry Grinder Mode # engage...

I sliced the swage off so we can couple the new pipe with the stock back box [the two pipe ends are 2" now, usually a slip in fit] and use 2x 54mm clamps.

The hanger bracket needs to be transferred to the Diesel 2" pipe.... I lopped it off and then sliced it to create a tight/smack on C-Clip fit.

All the fitter has to do now is measure where the front/rear section are best meet in the centre = pipes are too long/chop to fit 👍

Popped in to see my spanner man... His lockup gates were open.

Massive dressing on his wrist..... White(ish) on the back >> oil black on his palm 🙄. Hospital stitched him up but were worried about blood poisoning (they did something with his lymph, up under his arm) and he was told GO HOME = Keep it clean.... 😵‍💫

Aneehoo... He's in doing bits n bobs, pre MOT checks and light stuff 😮

Think we are on for my Ex, Sunday early doors 😁

AVAS has been here a year, done 30k and no FTP.

Much animated debate on the forum about all sorts of vehicular conveyances and much 'knowledgable insight' into..... The Way Ahead 😶‍🌫️

I have to say [*sample size = 1] AVAS is the most competent/comfortable+ rattle free auto I've ever owned ♥️

I'm MOST impressed that the car has super dooper electronic gizmo engine management - exhibiting turbine smoothness and power...

YET.... Doesn't have any *nanny tech 😵‍💫

Sound system has no usb Stick slot 🫤....

..... nor the essential rev bleepers!
