Needs a good clean. Its difficult to class it as 'shite' as its the Ghia spec!!

That's lovely - I love the original wheels too, good they've survived.this is almost exacto like my Grandad's old Escort that sadly got torched along with a volvo and some bicycles and lawn mowers when neds (chavs) torched the timber garage block :cry:

Shite is blind to spec. as a top of the line model can still be shite. It's the model in itself that is shite or otherwise E.g would you have turned down the same car with basic trim? In fact sometimes the 'loaded' versions of some classic shite are even shitier due to the beautiful irony (case and point: Allegro Vanden Plas! - solid gold shite and O so fuggin wonderful)

I love the amount of chrome you get on those ones! Looks classy.I vote you leave it exactly as it is.

Fantastic bit of shopping!Had a Mk3 1.3 GL as my second car... how I regret moving it on. :cry:
