Although there is a long standing local Colt dealer, most of the decent stuff is long gone. Even tapped the parts manager up and he's looked long and hard. Odd, seeing as it's the same as a Galant...Anyway, if anyone knows anyone/anywhere I'd rather have the right one, as opposed to some stick-on Halfords special.Cheers. :-)

Found this over on eBay US.

Mirror Glass

US passenger side is our offside (as you know!).

Not sure if any better than Halfrauds though.

That'll be for the FWD Galant I think, AXR.I think your best bet would be to go into Halfords and see if any of the patterns in there resemble your mirror, then buy the right mirror on eBay because Halfords are rip-off merchants.

If it's only that the glass is cracked then it's not really an issue. Here's what I do. Either remove the cracked glass or make a cardboard template, go to local glaziers and ask them to cut you a bit of mirror glass from their offcuts (they tend to have it kicking about), pass dude said template and a couple of quid, attach double sided sticky tape to the back of the 'new' mirror and stick it on.Normally cost me about £2 each, so it's a good idea to get both done at the same time.

What kind of mirror is it? Is it the chrome type screwed into the door or the plastic type situated within the door-glass area?If it's the latter, see if someone in Australia or NZ will go into a scrapper and get you one off a Sigma. There should be loads of them there still, I got loads of odds and ends for mine via a chap in NZ. No mirrors though.

It's the later 1/4 light style one. Any contact for your mate still ? Would prefer to fit an original one, bit a pattern from the local glazier type is also on the cards.Cheers for suggestions
