Clumpy the Clio and it’s replacement.

This old Clio (affectionately known as Clumpy) has been my sister in laws daily driver for the last 7 years but has just been replaced by a 2012 Clio 1.5 DCI bargain ULEZ victim, how a car that is £20 a year road tax isn’t ULEZ compliant seems nonsense, but it’s meant a good buy and another perfectly serviceable vehicle kept on the road and not pointlessly scrapped, thank you Mr Khan.

So why was I giving Clumpy its annual service today? Sister in law has gifted the old thing to her son who is learning to drive at the moment, an ideal first car I would say. It’s been well looked after by yours truly since being in our custodianship and is in fine order for a good few year’s service yet I reckon, it uses no oil or coolant between its yearly service and has no corrosion bodily or underside, long live Clumpy!

Going under this was sketchy enough for me!

The more you look, the worse it gets. For added bonus points it is on a slope, ramp tops look made of wood, bit of 2x4 presumably in the vague hope of catching it from rolling back and then finally the safety flipflops. 🤣

At least his bollocks aren't hanging out his safety shorts.

Doesn't look particularly safe being under it while half way up the ramp though!
