IVe always been fascinated by the glazing in this era of american cars, the shapes and the design of the pillars etc.  So cool.

I genuinely believe cars peaked in this era, big wafty cars with even bigger v8s and outlandish styling, they just scream the 4 person family consisting of a Husband, Wife, older son and younger daughter and the family dog aka the nuclear family, a time where the biggest breakthrough in consumer electronics was the colour Television and Dad liked to come home from a long day at the office to a dry martini and a Swansons TV dinner, the last days of the old technology before emissions rules and flat boxy styling came in and really killed the jet age cars 

 

What's even crazier to me is the people born in the late 1800s growing up in the old West seeing the world start driving model T's then growing old and seeing cars like this

She's not that easily impressed - ask me how I know

Thought I was marrying a quiet, home loving lady who was mad about horses. Turns out she's also a bit mad about cars (not fixing them, just driving them). She has a long felt want for an Edsel but would (probably) settle for a baby blue baby like yours. (so long as it has a bench front seat, automatic, column shift)

what a beaut! is it a 59 ish? very similar to the 59 chev, that was in that ron howard owned but didnt drive much in that  film with those cool cars....
