My schoolfriend's parents had one of these. Looked very cool. It had replaced a rough looking mark 3 Cortina but the Laurel itself was replaced by a Nissan Bluebird ZX Turbo.

Spottedlaurel has one of these. I drove it - it's so smooth that you could just quite happily doze off, but also quite fast so when you crash into something you'll be going pretty quick.

That is right up my street. Big, square and rare! Love it...and a great 70s colour to boot! Would be tempted to take a look if it wasnt at t'other end of country!!
