Is this something special?Any pictures of old part or a diagram out of WS manual?

no keef, you just pull the cable out, and it lets the hot water that circulates the engine, into the heater matrix, giving warm air.Push the cable back in, meaning no hot water in heater matrix, giving you cold.

I meant will a standard bowden cable do the job?Might have something out of an A40, if it needs an end on? Something like a choke cable would perhaps do the job?

Yeah i am pretty sure a choke cable would do, i'm just being picky as i want the heat symbol on it -sorry cav for the thread wreck-

You can sometimes transfer these, if it's a metal plate for example.

Billy, my tame Scottish mechanic mate SCTSH_ANDY has a suitably beefy A frame and a Td5 Disco minus the EGR. Should I ask him if he's busy? He might be shouting abuse at Mark's Cortina or my Celeste though. He likes doing that. Or deciding that something on his 9000 is 'shite'.I'll let thee know.

My mate Ieu runs a workshop in Mold, Vitesse Motor Services, and he's a bit of a BL fan. He'll probably be able to point you in the right direction of someone who can frame or trailer the Maxi if nobody else can help.Is the Hydragas pumped up though? I wouldn't fancy dragging one that was down in the weeds.

Id love to help Billy but im handing back the A this week and my tow car is in for MOT.... possibly until 2012. And ive got a hydragas pump!!If my Audi is returned within a reasonable timeframe maybe we can sort something out. LPG is easy on the pocket too
