1973 Rover P6 3500 for sale cheap!

Whilst at work today, called on a chappie who's got this motor for sale, he's owned it for 30 odd years, oil changed every 2000 miles, piles of history, all old MoT's etc. 93000 miles.

Unfortunately he's had a stroke, and had to retire early, and needs to sell, house going on the market soon, need to buy a bungalow.

Said it's got a perished heater hose, and a weeping master cylinder, and otther than that it's tippity top.

Paints a bit flat, but looked nice and straight. has got another cars-worth of spares to go with it.

 

He wants £900, which has got to be a bargain.

Car is in South Ockendon, Essex, 10 minutes from Lakeside and J30/31 of the M25.

That second picture is shit......To be honest, I'm not sure about the wheels.....they're ok-ish...Pog; he's got a Trans-Am too, obviously had a good relationship with his local garage.Trans-Am for sale too, but i didn't like it much, looked like a Nissan 300....

Wheels are off a chrome bumper SD1 - someone'll be pleased with those I dare say, if you can find some originals to replace them.I'd really fancy this but I'm a) too poor this month and banned from buying any more shite until I've shifted (or maybe hidden) the Scirocco.

Any tax/MOT?

According to DVLA it's on a SORN, expires 7/10, and matey said it will only need a bit of minor fettling for Mot; brake master cylinder leaking, and a "blast to get rid of the cobwebs".I'd have it like a shot, but my garage is full of capri, and Escort, and I need to sort those out first.
