Well Ill have to do this in seperated parts, as flickr is being difficult and I cant be bothered to upload all 50 odd pics at once haha.

Posted Image

There was alot of Farinas there, which is a nice thing indeed. Sadly most were impossible to picture due to the damn sun!

Posted Image

These cars just seem to go on and on......in length. I dont think Ive ever seen one before, so it was nice to see one finally. This was the better of the two there.

Posted Image

Nice and original, although I dont know if it was a Taxi way back then. This is an A55 right?

Posted Image

Also a hell of alot of the ADO16s there, you would have liked it Keef!

Posted Image

This was really nice as well, isnt it funny how colours on old cars look so much better than they ever could on newer ones?

Posted Image

Weirdly, I only saw 3 Allegros there. Bit weird, but thats 3 more than the amount of Marinas there....

Posted Image

This is no doubt one of those Ledbury kits, registered as an Austin though.

Posted Image

Nice and tidy Metro, see alot of G plate ones it has to be said.

Posted Image

Beige Maestro, what a win. Spotless.

Posted Image

Mega early Maestro, there cant be more than 10 on a Y plate left, surely.

And my star car so far.....

Posted Image

Posted Image

Coming up later, some Princess and Maxi action, plus some mouldy old Lorries.

Posted

Top work, any more Austin 3-litre pics please?

Was going to leave you invites for these and the 3 Litre, but can't find Brammy777 on Flickr. :(

Have some more:

Nice Princess, this was one of two there.

Posted Image

This must be a really late Maxi with chrome bumpers, or they just put them on. It doesnt come up as a Maxi 2 so hopefully that means it isnt.

Posted Image

I love the quad headlamped versions, colour suits it as well.

Posted Image

This must be an exhibit of the museums, being a Bedford and all.

Posted Image

Neat Ital van, sadly the only Ital there. I was hoping one would show up but alas not.

Posted Image

My favourite ice cream vans. Dont really see an CFs round here so it was nice to see this.

More later.

Defo, it looks class, i'd love to take my camera and phtograph some of the visitors, and a couple of cars maybe.

Posted

Ha, I was listening to music so didnt really notice anyone!

Posted Image

I think this is still used, I bet it has some massive engine in it.

Posted Image

Autoshite bus, without a doubt.

And some Plane shite, sad to see one like this but they do have another VC-10. Stupid phone camera means I have to stand about a million miles away from planes to get the wings in but this one had been put here with me in mind.

Not taxed since 1995, shame as genuine Cargos are rare.

Ah sorry I forgot to take one, I had been planning to but forgot. Did any Marinas or Montegos show up in the end?

Posted

No Marinas or Montegos as far as I saw, there were at least two Allegros, Maxi, Metros, Maestros but no Ambassadors either. Oh and the Ital van - nice 8) The two Austin 3 Litres made my day 8)

I didn't think many buses could stump me, I can only guess from the wheels, 'dinner plates' and drivers instrument set up that this is based on some kind of AEC platform?
Posted

Well done Hammy, thats it. Its an AEC Swift Sparshatt. I cant imagine too many of these survive. Bonus points if you can guess the one in the background...

Posted

Wow a W reg Metro and a Y reg Maestro! Looks like a good day out!

Y reg maestro is mine!
Posted

Its proper nice! Is there a story behind it?
