Snowbound shite-spotting

I think my old shite spots thread has been culled, so here's a new one.

With the road home snowbound (cheerz Traffic Scotland for deleting it off the closed roads list), I had to take a rather different and longer route back. Stumbled across lots of new shite and it was a good chance to try out my new 'phone - it's not great, but good for snapshots, as with all 'phone cameras really...

Maestro and Bedford CF - this guy used to have an Allegro and a Marina Suntor. He needs to be on here.

This Espace is for sale, £300 with a fair bit of T&T.

There are two Minors under there, somewhere.

Mini 'Neon'. It's weird calling a car Neon then painting it in a flat grey colour.

Another CF camper, can't get away from the buggers

Ford Pop

Not a Ford Pop, surely? Doors and screen the wrong shape. Pilot, possibly? Though it looks too small for that.

yeh i don't think it's a pop.....the bulkhead extends further on a pop, and i can't see the swage line on the door. dont think DBS' are worth that much michiel, not enough to restore a really hammered one, especially if the engine is kaput. A-Ms cost loads to restore.

Deffo not a Pop or a Pilot....Maybe a Morris of some sort?

Posted

Aye. :D All but the Maestro and first CF are in one 'yard' though.

Good to see the snow hasnt deterred you. Wonder if that guy intentionally bought the Allegro replacement and one up from the Suntor for camper shite, as you said, he needs to be here!

It's another planned town in the same region - Dallas.

I'd love to find a shitey DBS thats had its engine robbed, rusty sills and that. DIY weld-up job on the sills, lob in an XJ40 engine, LPG bottle, then just drive round in it looking like a fuggin INTERNATIONAL LEGEND. Leave the interior all crusty, prob remove the carpets so you can keep an eye on rot levels underfoot.

Aye, the DBS is mega cool, especially as it's an early version without the 1980s excesses.

They don't seem that expensive compared with other Astons.

Ah Dallas, not been there in ages bought a job lot of sd1 spares out there a few years back.

Nice spots there. I assumed the Mini was ancient, until you said it was a 'Neon' from the 90's. I've got a Corgi model one :D FG wins for me!
