It is just full of shite, parked so close you can hardly take pictures. Many optimistically titled as 'under resortation' there are flat tyres, oil leaks and broken trim everywhere. Everything was shoved in in a random order, so much so you couldn't get to half of them

Shite bikes!

Shite fire trucks!

Shite tank!

Shite airplane!

Shite helecopter!

And then, just when you think the level of complete and utter bollocks couldn't get any higher, you find the junk yard.

Its the Toy and Transport Museum in Wanaka, New Zealand. It is mind bendingly awesome and full of guests with that slightly let down 'I thought a car museum meant polished Bentleys and Astons' look. Plus the toys are great to look at, especially if you are a Star Wars saddo like me

Wow! Paradise! I notice a few interesting looking aircraft in some of the shots- is that the airfield where they have the amazing "Warbirds Over Wanaka" air show every year?

Thats what my house would be like if I had the money.Must try to visit when I eventually get to NZ.

Why does it take a tourist to find these places  I had heard there was a museum there but had no idea it was THE museum. It is also the site of www.warbirdsoverwanaka.com over Easter weekend.

The cars are fantastic, but this

is epic. I've never even been in a helicopter, but this is the one I'd want to own.

Mmmm, lots of bromze and beige beauties to be seen there.

First pic, Bellett! That sets the tone - looks like an awesome place. That helicopter looks scary, like it's made of balsa wood...

My 1st instinct was to say that the helicopter didn't look like an actual, real helicopter, but I thought I'd better just do a quick Google before I made a fool of myself. The registration, ZK HOB, belongs to a Revolution Mini 500 helicopter which crashed in 1997!! I'd never heard of that particular type of helicopter, so another quick Google brought up some images of a much more helicopter-like device. So, I think I'm right- that's not actually a helicopter, possibly some sort of child's theme-park exhibit - though why they chose the reg number of a crashed machine is beyond me!

Agreed, that is quite special.

Wow, a limited edition allegro thingy, with the stripes. They were only available in Tara green and Denim blue apparently. V rare.Seems the avid shiter can really flourish over in NZ!
