vicsmith Posted February 11, 2010 Posted February 11, 2010 Nice conclusion, I`m sure it would have got another MOT on it had it been sold on but this way it gets to remain with someone who is clearly enamoured with it, which is where all 323s should be.
retrogeezer Posted February 11, 2010 Posted February 11, 2010 has this car ever being smorked in.'fraid I can't answer this in case Retrogeezer's listening... LOL!!Good news about 'our' little car then...I was halfway to coming to pick it up myself but my other half would have left me.So, what was the score with the MOT then? Did you find someone else to do the work? Now, change that friggin oil if you haven't done so yet!
binhoker668 Posted February 11, 2010 Author Posted February 11, 2010 Tell us what happened FFS!!Nowt to tell Fred, and besides - dinnae wanna open the floodgates as it were...Shopped around, got same quotes, sold things, shelled out, got it done. Glad.End.
FredTransit Posted February 11, 2010 Posted February 11, 2010 Good man! Did it cost as much as you originally though? Still gotta be cheaper than buying another one....
binhoker668 Posted February 11, 2010 Author Posted February 11, 2010 He did it 30 quid cheaper than the original quote, and although I saw millions of other cars fer around the money, they were all A) a total lottery and utter shiteheaps anyway.I never wanted rid - love me motor! But chaos all around + minimal cash can cloud decisions.
r.welfare Posted February 11, 2010 Posted February 11, 2010 Another 12 months of roadworthiness - great news!
meggersdog Posted February 11, 2010 Posted February 11, 2010 Well done that man.Next time probably won't be as painful as no doubt the biggest expense was the 'screen.Back on the road for another year..Yippee
Spottedlaurel Posted February 11, 2010 Posted February 11, 2010 Well done! Definitely the best course of action.
