Ugliest vehicle EVAR?

What I dislike most about the Civic is the rear window. Surely the whole point of a rear window is that you can see out of it?!

Not driven one, but imagine the rear view is not brilliant. Quite like the look of these though. Would happily drive one of these.

Probably backwards into a lampost though.

I really like those, much prettier than my C5 that falls rather heavily into the uglycar bracket.

I'm sure I haven't mentioned this one before. No,not at all.*

This. How in the name of God can anyone walk into a showroom, look at that and think, "yes, that is what I want to spend 17 grand of my savings on"? Amazed you found a picture of one that wasn't grey, silver or black though. I'd also like to nominate this

Awww, come on......

If I'd have done this in college I'd have been right in front of the principal accused of looking over someone's shoulder in a test.

Why do they all look the same??

The Mk4 Escort, the Mk2 Astra and the Peugeot 306 didn't look anything like each other, why do these?

Elf and Safety crash test bollocks.
"All cars must look depressingly similar, in order that pedestrians may fall into a coma on the pavement rather than walking into the road in front of said car"Crap. I sort of knew that anyway but surely the talented designers can tweak and jiggle and make something cool that still meets criteria on impact heights and shit like that. This just reeks of laziness.Failing that, teach people not to walk into the road. Being hit by a Maxi at 40mph will be a good enough lesson.

Not only are these completely mingin'..but the people who drive them just wind me up. Fusty grey haired, beige-wearing, moaning old gits with no car buying imagination at all.

"Oh my 96 year old friend Enid has got one so I'll get one aswell. In the same boring colour."

Go to any Garden Centre mid-week and the car park is full of 'em ...and they're all sitting in the coffee lounge supping piss-weak tea making one pot last 4 hours. Or they're holding everyone up at the checkout ,fumbling in their purse for the odd tuppence and muttering something about only being on a pension and how cold it is.

Get caught behind one on the road and guaranteed you aint goin anywhere over 20mph. Dare to overtake and you get a right fist waving for actually doing something remotely close to the actual speed limit.

C**TS.

Oh my God, I hope this comes back to haunt you when you're 96 years old (if you're lucky enough to live that long) and stinking of piss whilst you struggle to survive on your huge state pansion!!:shock:

I hate all these modern things with the the huge gaping grilles that send the headlights scurrying off up the wings in terror, I mean WTF is the point? They're all at it now, the new Ford Fester and Ka, all the recent Pugs (remember how good Peugeots used to look?) and now Fiat have done the same to what for me was one of the best looking small cars you could buy, the Punto.

I think it's all for "presence", tiny cars have to be as ugly and intimidating as Porsche Cayennes.

Hey I recognise that blue thing from my '1986 world cars' book, but I have no idea what it is. What is it?

What IS that?

The design concept of the A8-16 was largely inspired by the SAAB and Volvo models of those years, with futuristic details such as the large headlamps, inclined nose and the high-positioned rear trunk...Only 1,013 examples of the A8-16 were produced between 1981 and 1984.

I was just thinking about the Fiat, I really thought they'd hit the jackpot with the styling of the Punto (and the new Bravo, actually) and then i saw this stupid facelift the other day. Surely it's not even been out long enough to warrant a facelift anyway?

Oh, and has anyone mentioned this yet?

Dont think i've seen a single one on the road yet...nice one Subaru

Seems to be a thing with Fiats these days, they re-design their cars within a short time. Started with the MK2 Punto which was a nice design, then that was replaced with the Mk3 which had a crap front. Punto Grande - everyone raved how good the design was, and in true form Fiat have replaced it with a rubbish one.

To be fair the Grande Punto has been around since September 2005 - launched within a week of the current Clio - so a facelift was due. Not arguing the aesthetics of it though, it looks properly minging.
