Absolutely LOVE that Lancia

thought i'd share this...

 

basically a chap mets another with a passion for tanks but stumbles on all these Dacia's in canada... mental :D

 

Incroyable, j'ai trouvé ces photos sur le profil facebooke d'un jeune amateur de chars que j'ai rencontré par hasard car il trippais sur mon Mercury Station !!!

 

Une coure bin pleine de chars français

 

une 15 aine de R12 qui pourtant n'a pas été vendu en amerique du nord mais reblasé DACIA, probablement une pâle tentative d'importation par la firme qui à tourné au vinaigre

 

il y as des peugeot 304 et 504 , toutes sont des versions export que j'ai jamais vu avec des calandres inconnues et reblasé sous d'autres marques :shock:

 

Pour l'instant la neige empêche d'y accéder mais dès le printemps j'irais voir par moi même et faire un reportage spécial Retro02 !

todays update

 

spent a little while trying to find out information regarding a small chateau near where we live, even the locals were tight lipped, so thought i'd just go and investigate, the stairs were ready to drop, the roof like a sieve not good times for this little known chateau in the charente

as promised went back the breakers up the road (wet day nothing to do)

 

he's a microcar specialist now retired but still tinkers, wouldnt let me take pics in the barn but the whole upstairs was a shrine to bubble cars downstairs a huge log fire burns whilst you check out more bubbles and a Gold Cadillac in the corner..

Excellent, I like that chateau - library intact! Those Taunuses are growing on me, my dad had a 15M when he worked for the union in the 60s.

today i had the pleasure of working on a TR7, someone had cut all the wires and re-installed then wrong, nice, anyway after an hour it starts, this thing was immaculate and has sold...

theyt had a similar scruffy black one which just sold on the bay for £6.5k :othe TR just restored, was mint sold fer £2K :evil:
