A40 and other family cars - Show time.

Sent this to scrap this week. Bought for the mother in law 2017. Been an epic little car. Sadly the back beam is no longer attached. Emminently repairable but not worth the investment. Still, £700 in 2017 and ive got £180 scrap and the rest of the tax back for her.

I did initially offer it to @Mally for the girls to race but having been under it myself i dont reckon itd have been safe for them to compete in without major intervention.

Tell me this looks like scrap! Genuinely felt sad driving it back to our yard for the final time.

Yes it's a shame, it looks good* from the outside but sometimes you just have to send em away. I've done it, once it was with great sadness, other times I've been glad to see the back of the ungrateful bastards

On the positive side that's 8 years motoring for £520.

Normally I'd had had it for that price and stripped it for parts. But my garden is full and I'm in Bulgaria so it's probably for the best.

This went this aft. Quite sad as its been an epic car. Pleasure to own and never put a foot wrong. Just hope its as good for him as it was for me.

Nowt. Its the second time ive tried running 4 and its just a stress. If i can purloin half the profits then it might mean i dont sell the A40 and buy the 5 speed conversion for it instead. Thatd make quite the car.
