The postman delivered the collection I purchased

16220 - Bristol LS in Greyhound livery.

16311 DL - Bristol LS in Bath Services dual purpose livery.

16325 - Bristol LS coach in Bristol Tramways livery.

E25204 - Bristol RELL in Bristol livery. Bit of paint damage on radiator. Did accidentally order another off ebay, so that hopefully won't be damaged.

29403 & 29413 - Bristol RELH Dual Purpose Coaches, both in Badgerline livery.

29408 - Bristol RELH Dual Purpose Coach in Bristol Omnibus livery

29412 - as above but in the later NBC livery.

32401 - Bristol RELH coach in Bristol Omnibus livery.

32402 - As above but in Bristol Greyhound livery.

Its a very good day.

Postie arrived with a package.

This is my favourite model in the whole list and difficult to get hold of. None sold on ebay in last 6 months. None in stock at any model shop I've tried.

Bought from a collector, after an appeal on a FB group.

One of the later EFE models. They even put wing mirrors on it !

He knew its rarity value, so I had to cough up the most dosh yet. But oh so worth it

Mrs CSW bought me a bus for Christmas. In fact she bought two identical ones!

Not on my list as its a Corgi. The Corgis in local liveries were going to be the next challenge, but I'm not complaining.

This bus use to be the bus I caught to school every day, so glad she bought it

Its been a busy day wfh. Mostly looking for some of the rarer models.

5 now in transit to me. 

2 are of the rare variety, one was 50 quid! The other a more reasonable 25.

1 was not on list but is rare and was cheap. So as it was lucky to find, I bought it. Will sell it on at a later date.

Total spend now 415.45

I think I better reign myself in a bit and spread the rest over the year - but then, I have said that before lol

I’d never really looked into the different brands of models but I just sorted through my small collection and put the EFEs at the front. The back row are mainly corgi. Are any of these on your list (I’ve binned the boxes though)? 

Some I wouldn’t sell but some I would if it helped your collection challenge.

Cool. I couldn't quite get my head around the criteria so I thought I'd send pictures just in case.  The paramount was the first one I bought. When I realised that bus models and bus books were a thing it blew my young mind!

99713 - Bristol RELH / ECW in Bristol Greyhound livery. A code 2 model by EFE for London Transport Museum. One of 10 in the Victoria Coach Station Anniversary series. They don't come up for sale often and the seller didn't stiff me on the price

That looks like a code 3 model. A driver has been added.

I think I bought a couple of models from him, that I did need.

I need to slow down.

A few are very hard to find. I've been exceptionally lucky with about 5 of those already bought.

I'm going to concentrate on finding the rare ones for a few months.

Spent an hour today, trying to understand a Japanese model shop website, as they seem to have one I want. I failed and gave up lol

Not part of my challenge, but this Corgi popped up local on FB MP very cheap. Given Mrs CSW bought me the Cityline version, figured I would buy the First Bus Badgerline to keep it company.

I did reach the point of thinking my challenge would be complete by end of January, but of the 16 left, 8 seem to be made of unobtainium i.e. none on ebay and none in the completed sales search either. Or available in any model shop. Not a good sign. I'm also very conscious that of those bought, 6 were pretty bloody rare and I just got lucky.

Unboxed and possibly with some minor wear, but if you do want them, they'll be cheap...
