West coast collection thread - Freelander Van Content

Well first time for a while new toy incoming.  Been looking for something cheap and 4wd for a while as a toy and think I’ve found something - as featured on the eBay tat thread.  Agreed a deal on assumption it looks as good as bumtree ad and the MOT history etc!  Will be a day out worst case if turns out to be a turd!  Post more tomorrow PM!

All going well deal done. Shite updates as drove both ways with shopping trip in Glasgow in the middle. Home soon for pics and proper inspection!

Here she is. Really pleased. Few bits to sort and clean but really good condition and only 66k. Been decently recommissioned after long time in slumber. Will do some more bits myself. Deep clean inside first.  No idea why that’s where I start!

Smart. Commercial version is pretty rare nowadays too, assume it's a tractor rather than a K?
Best colour for them too, really shines when they're clean and polished, well done.

That thing looks amazingly clean for a 19 yr old vehicle, let alone a commercial Freelander. Well done.

Well did the oil and filters this morning and good check over all seems good so far. Went down to u pull it and got some replacement lights for the boot and glovebox and a jack kit which has a wheel chock which I thought was a nice touch.  Also got some glass roof panels instead on metal it came with.  All for £20 was chuffed with that!

more cleaning this afternoon!  I am tempted to get a roof with windows as it’s lines which may reduce noise. Also wondering about seats in the back but to be honest I’m liking the idea of a van at the moment!!

The glass roof panels transform the cabin - well chuffed!

IIRC the 'car' bits are plug n play..think there/s 1 panel on the floor to remove...

nice looker for the age too....

Yeah I believe all the fittings and holes are there for seats and belts
