What do those 1.6-litre MR2s go like? I always thought the 1.6 would probably struggle a bit in the heavier mk2.

Ah, the Honda S2000; the car that people with a mind of their own choose over the Audi TT.

The non-GT Coupe had a 2 litre 119 BHP engine. The Mk1 had a 1.6. The Coupe was ok, 0-60 in just over 9 secs and easy 120MPH top end. The engine was smooth and had good torque at low revs. Nice car.

Nothing for now, we bought the Megane new and we're tied in to a four year deal. My wife uses the Megane, which is perfect for her needs. The Merc and the MR2 are for keeps, at least for now!

That's the one! I would have kept it longer than 2 months if it had PAS and fuel injection.

The previous owner fitted a Becker CD/Tuner originally fitted to a Ferrari 360! I sold on EBay for £250 and installed a perfectly decent Sony replacement - cost £20!

Boras are on the cusp of shitedom. I like 'em - and the similar-age Seat Toledo, too.

[imghttp]I've got a real hankering for one of these at the moment. Fatha_L had a 318 Touring when they were now and it was a tidy car.
