oooh that'd be nice. We went to a breakers in the south of France who had a RHD 505 in. Wasn't in the 'breaking' section though... (and was only a saloon).Scrape those pennies together! It's a serious amount of car for the money.

That is awesome!!!! I would be half tempted by that myself, you certainly dont see em for 500 quid at this end any more. Saying that, If I was tooling round wisbech/Pboro in it, some twat would probably nick it and export it within a fortnight. One of the fittters at my work had his Isuzu pick-up scooped off his drive a few weeks ago, when he went to the coppers all they said was 'gordon bennett, not another one' What happened to the Simca? (are we talking about that blue Alpine)?

I love 505s. Such well designed cars. That and the 405 are my top pugs.Sad that they have mostly been exported away from the UK now, Id love to spot one. One of those cars thats pleasing to see.

scrapmen took it away, i said to her that i ask them (the owners) to call me, she just shrugged her shoulders (as the french do) that said her son said its was completely rotten and been on the grass for the last 10 years so did me a favour really

Apparently theres only 2 'genuine' 505 coupes. And the rest are homemade. Gorgeous though!

That 505 coupe has elements of 6 series BMW to it. Lose all the american type detailing, headlamps and side repeaters and you've got yourself a neat looking car.
