I picked these up in 02/03 from a bike show - the translator needs shooting.

' The front and rear hubs are made of high-strength alloy, which extends the value sense of the motorcycle together with the delicate baked painting'

Hey I wouldnt object to buying one of those Zhongyu beauties. Low-cost sourcing at its best! Where do I sign?

I'm afraid that that young lady has no idea what I'm thinking, I may have to log out for 5 minutes

What on earth is the "High-Tech Coded False-Proof Seal", proudly mentioned at the bottom left of every page?Bonkers. Brilliant :)

"a scooter thats completely humanised." So is she the scooter? Wouldn't mind a ride!

At the bottom of that last one."Colours available....Blackish green..."I'm glad they've told me what the "lubricating oil replacement indicator" is for or I might have had sleepless nights figuring it out.

Yep, or if you don't like that there's a greenish black. The sheer choice is so overwhelming I might have a nosebleed

Model sitting on bike is called Ashley Wang (Wang Yi). Used to be bar manager of Harbour Plaza Hotel in Kunming. Before that, she was Miss Chongqing 2002 - crown stripped when her old man was banged up for being a mob-boss. Have stories - cannot publish...

Ashley Wang eh? There's room room for a spelling mistake there, shame her Dad got tugged, wouldn't mind it myself, did he shuffle straight to prison? The screws better be carefull in case he bangs one out....sorry

Chances are there's more of those brochures in existence than running '02 Zhongyus :) That 125 model looks exactly like my Daelim NS.

That pamphlet is clearly written by the descendant of the bloke who wrote the manual for that 1904 DeDion they had on Top Gear."hurl forward the lever of the embroyage without brutality"

Ashley's old man got the blame for the bridge that collapsed in ChongQing that killed 52 coppers. Paid for his life (cost £200k) but all that bought him was solitary for the rest of his natural life. He had a decent collection of motors (now hidden in lock-ups around the province) including China's first Alpina B12 import. She got that job after she won the Miss ChongQing comp, and she appears on a few other brochures too.I haven't seen her for a few years now - we didn't exactly part on good terms - but I guess she's still a stunner. I hear that she is working in the restaurant of the ChongQing Harbour Plaza nowadays. How the mighty fall...
