Free: HC Viva spares.

Free: (used) HC Viva spares: headlights, rear lights, fuel filler neck, bumpers and one or two other small items.I really would prefer collection of parts as finding time to pack 'em all up and post out is going to be tricky.I'm near Chester close to M53/M56/A55/A41/M6 etc.If someone's short of a few quid I'm not bothered if they want to try and flog them or something but would prefer they went to someone who could use them or keep 'em as spares.

I had a dream I bought a Viva last night, that was 100% covered in 'surface rust'!

if it was solid structually i would have been happy. i cant find one near me for love nor (a small amount of) money.

I have a friend with a very nice reliable HC 4 door 1256... tax free as well, located and being used as everyday car in Thame right now. Light blue colour and sun faded to almost white in places so shitemobile it is....Its got MOT and as said Tax free....

always good to hear a viva is on the road, hopefully mine will be soon, *crosses fingers* i was looking for a cheap 2door saloon for a v8 project or an estate as a donor shell for my sportshatch but there seems to be nothing around it the bargain basement catagory for the saloon and nothing at all for the estate or there miles away.

me and VivaPower went on a bit of a trip yesterday down to Furbers in Whixhall where the 3 Vivas were.sadly none were much good. great yard though. I have uploaded loads of picks into my facebook scrapyard group - link below if anyone wants to see them.

Unfortunately the remaining scrapyards in Chester are pretty grim. Chadwicks (Broughton Mills Rd, Bretton) is the best of the bunch htough and the owner is a great bloke.Prees is between Whitchurch and Shrewsbury, about 3 miles from the Midway Truckstop at Whitchurch.Head on the A49 towards Shrewsbury and take the 2nd exit signed for Prees.Follow back into Prees and take the 2nd (I think) turn onto the industrial estate, the salvage 'barn' is on the right.Usually full of modern exotica such as nearly new Ferraris, Rollers and Bentleys etc and about eleventy million Brummies speaking excitedly into mobile phones before laying down large cash deposits.

He specialises in German cars and Alfas but sometimes gets the odd nice motor in.He had a REALLY, seriously tidy orange Allegro (circa 1975) in about a year back but said he wouldn't sell complete as the elderly previous owner asked him not to.Bit of a pisser but nice to know some yard owners aren't dishonest bastards.
