Hi all, I have been a lurker for a while. I don't own anything old at the moment and run a sensible Golf mk4 but my heart belongs to autoshite. I used to drive a 1602 BMW (canary yellow) 1973 plate and have had old Fords and Astras in the past. I love the ebay thread and the randomness of the posts....anyway hello all.

Also a week or so we took our two small kids to the Science Museum in that there Londinium and I saw this...

Free entry to the Science Museum. :D Also visible is a Mini that's been through a bandsaw and a gas turbine Rover.

Wasn't sure if JET 1 was still in the museum - was watching a British Pathé vid from 1958 the other day which shows it being driven to the museum and the keys handed over.I must go one day.. and Bealieau... and Gaydon.... and the Haynes Museum....

Welcome! Its a shame the Scinece museum don't display more of their cars! Mrs Seth visited the store while she was doing her masters dissetation - to look at and take photos of a variomatic Daf powered by a fuel cell. :D Their hangers at Wroughton are chocked full of cool stuff!

Was there not some sort of proposal to open up the hangers at Wroughton or am I imagining that?Hello and welcome btw!
