Aha ! hope that got your attention....A friend of a friend is trying to locate a model of a Bentley Continental drophead, but in 1/18th scale, whilst she is in the UK, to take back "for a friend" in Barbados.... (Cliff Richard, perhaps???)now you guys are sure to know more about where to obtain such an item than I do, so could I prevail on your superior knowledge, please ?My immediate comments was, why bother with a model, take back the real thing, boost the economy All suggestions welcome, funny ones too ... cheers

thanks for that, Mr. Lobsta, you are the only reply so far ! where would they find details of that via internet ? i am not sure if that is the latest version of the Continental, but it sure looks well made. Do you know which company, by any chance ? cheers.

i found one for €95 and another for €110

Thats the only 1/18 scale Continental I'm aware of that is available at the moment. Its made by Minichamps, RRP should be about £50 - £75 I'm guessing - will see what else I can find out.

well, thanks guys for your pointers, in the end, they settled for a 1/43 scale model from a guy who has a model shop in Milford-on-Sea. I think they were shocked at how much a 1/18th scale would cost.....I will be curious to discover if there is a real Bentley Continental drophead rattling round Barbados - I somehow doubt that !!!
