That's weird. Yours is a Series 1 but it's got the Series 2 cold start injector set up on it. Is it the original engine?

I've just found some pictures of mine in bits when I had to change the stat. There's also a picture from 2001 when I met up with Gus and another lad (Andy I think) when Kate & I were returning from a wedding in Basildon. My one is in the middle.

I test drove that at one of the Italian car days when it was at Falkland Palace when the car was for sale by a dealer at Scotlandwell some time around 1998/9 at a guess before I bought mine in 1999 but the car just didn't feel "right". Not sure if it even exists any more, I'm sure it had engine problems shortly after the posted photo was taken.

Is that jag advertised anywhere , not sure this SLK I bought is working out , mrs wack hasn't taken the roof off once and struggles to get in and out of it 

It probably doesn't help that she didn't look too hard at the pictures when I showed her it so was a bit surprised it wasnt a 4 door saloon when it arrived
