What was the first car you ever purchased on an E bay Auction?

December 2009, idly browsing the classic section of eBay when I spotted a shiny black Vauxhall Royale auto. I'd had one when I was about 20 (never did the hot hatch thing, went straight to big barges) and loved it. Stuck a cheeky bid on it that I knew would never be enough to bag it and the next day was proved wrong. It was just like I remembered, even smelled the same inside.

My first ever eBay win was my second ever car, which was this green ZX.

I met up with @Spottedlaurel the day I collected it as it was up in Norwich. 

I think it cost me £330? I drove it everywhere, and then ended up selling it far too cheaply (probably should have kept it anyway) because I had won a rough BX, also on eBay. 

Amazingly still on file, albeit on SORN.

2003 I had 4 kids + a stepdaughter so needed a people carrier, so booted up Eblag and searched for Zafira's..

ended up buying a V reg Elegance Dti with 2 sunroofs 😮

drove up to Last of the Summer Wine country (well Huddersfield) met up with the seller who then took us on a 5 mile mystery tour as he lived out in middle of nowhere..

Gorgeous cottage that had been restored / extended with no neighbour within i think he said 3 miles..

did all the checks, had a gorgeous mug of tea and a bacon sarnie and said our fair wells..

Owned it for 18months then the diesel pump went....company I was driving for at the time had it in their garage and managed to sort a new pump for a grand , which was about 700 cheaper than I could find..Ran it for a further 6 months then swapped it for a Land Rover 110CSW..

The one and only car I've ever bid on (and won) was a Daewoo Nexia with a knackered gearbox, back in 2012. Had plans for it that unfortunately didn't come to fruition, and ended up scrapping it for what I originally paid for it.
