Vic used to have one of these with some kind of running fault (can't remember what). The rear arches were just starting to bleb up a bit, but it was pretty tidy overall. Wonder what happened to it in the end.Bit of a daft looking car but I can see the appeal of it, driving around with the full-length roof down.

Judging by the filler marks on the boot, it's had (and lost) a ripspeed spoiler at some point.

I've got one of these, it looks silly but it's great! Really nice to drive, roomy and nice in the summer with the big sunroof open. I'd recommend one, obviously not that one though!

A bit anorak mode here - but does this share its headlights with the Suzuki Cappucino? Different companies I know but the idea's just struck me and the lights do look similar. Plus both companies are Japanese and have the letter 'z' in their name so must be somehow linked. Fact.

I now see the utter error of my ways.BTW does anyone remember the one that featured in the non-funny cigar advert spin-off based comedy series The Baldy Man? It was a vile beige colour IIRC which was actually worse than that disabled orange/fake tan colour that they sold early mk3 polos in.
