Disappointed you missed out on the one Retrogeezer's just bought off Mr_Bo11ox? Buy mine instead!

Sticking it up here (and OJC/Datman forums) before I consider putting it on eBay, as I'd love for it go to a good home.

At the moment this appears to the best pic I have of it, will try and get more soon. Colour is silver, contrary to appearances above!

63k or so from new, first owner until 2002/03 I think, then next chap had it until July this year when I bought it unseen as a stopgap car. I was more than happy with it! I'm now looking to buy my 'dream' Camry and much as I'd like to keep this as a reliable back-up, I can't right now...

I think tax is end December, Mot April 2010 so no immediate bills. Would nicely get you through winter.

Could do with a new cam belt, it's OK mileage-wise but probably overdue time-wise. Belt already bought, but it's something I can't fit myself and I fear at the money it will sell for it's not something that will be covered if I get the garage to sort it.

Good tyres, excellent interior with lots of toys (PAS, EW, ESR, CL) and plush fabric, very clean bodywork. Auto has overdrive, once above 50mph or so it rev's really low so it cruises nicely and is decent on fuel - even round the lanes and country roads I get 32-33mpg. Runs nicely, though exhaust has an amusingly hollow sound (it's not blown, just sounds tinny).

I paid £525 for it but fully accept there's less tax and MoT on it now, so £425?

Having driven 'my' bluey for the first time yesterday, I can confirm these are great cars! I now wish I had got some use out of mine before selling it. 425 seems a very reasonable price for this one, I am half tempted myself!

By coincidence, there’s another Bluebird GS exactly the same but in a sort-of brown colour now on eBay. A year or so newer, 80k so a bit higher mileage, slightly longer MoT, up for £399 at a dealers. That doesn’t have any tax though, so I reckon I’m at about the right money.

Good point. I thought I was registered there but that was yonks ago and I've forgotten my password it seems, I'll look into that tonight.

Think I might have found myself the daily that I’ve always promised myself, so price on this splendid Bluebird reduced to £300! I’m afraid there won’t be any useful amount of tax with it at that (though I could get one on it at cost, if need be). Expires end of this month, so if you collect it before New Year you can at least get it home legally. Obviously still has a good bit of MoT left though.

It’s proving to be perfectly capable in winter, quickly warming-up and with good heating and ventilation. Mileage is now approaching 65k.

Ideally I need to use it until Christmas Eve, but would let it go before then if it was absolutely essential!

Err, sadly not – sorry! Already got something else lined up. Ideally I’d be keeping this as well (I regretted selling the last one) but it’ll make finances add up a bit easier for me if it goes.PM replied to.
